ALFANO IMMIGRATION LAW, P.A.
With over 20 years of experience in all facets of business immigration law, Lea Alfano is devoted to the representation of global companies, educational institutions, small and large businesses, and individuals throughout the nation in connection with their immigration needs.
The firm's services include:
I have personally prepared and submitted hundreds of petitions to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service and the U.S. Department of Labor to secure authorization for foreign workers to be employed both temporarily and permanently in the United States. I work on each immigration matter, strategizing with clients to determine the best path forward to meet the needs of all parties, and successfully shepherding foreign nationals and their employers through each stage of the immigration processes – from initial applications for temporary visas allowing work authorization to the complex process of applying for permanent residence in the United States. I have also successfully represented numerous individuals pursuing family-based immigration statuses with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and also those applying for such statuses from outside the United States. Finally, I have assisted many individuals applying for naturalization (U.S. Citizenship).
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and my law degree from the University of Notre Dame. I have been practicing immigration law exclusively since 2000 and have been recognized by Chambers & Partners, Who’s Who Legal, The Best Lawyers in America (including 2023 Lawyer of the Year for immigration in Orlando, FL), and Georgia Super Lawyers/Rising Stars. I also had the honor to serve as the Chair of the Georgia-Alabama Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association ("AILA") in 2009 and have also served as the Chair of the AILA Georgia-Alabama Liaison Committee with the Atlanta USCIS Field Office and as a member of the AILA National Liaison Committee with the USCIS Nebraska Service Center. I am admitted to the State Bars of Georgia and Florida and am frequently invited to speak at Continuing Legal Education conferences and seminars regarding business and family immigration matters.
